The short version
- Onjjakkung has no accounts. We do not ask for your name, email or phone number.
- When you use the app on your own, your records stay on this phone.
- Only when you connect with family, and only after you agree, records are stored on a server in Seoul, South Korea. Only family members connected with your code can see them.
- There are no ads, and we do not use your records for advertising or any other purpose.
Glonaris ("we") operates the Onjjakkung app (the "service") from South Korea and handles personal information as described below.
1. Information we handle
If you do not connect with family, nothing under "Stored on our server" is created. Your baby's details and records stay on your phone.
- Stored on our server (only if you connect with family): baby's name, birth date or due date, breastfeeding, bottle, pumping, diaper and sleep records and note text, the names family members choose (Mom, Dad and so on) and their roles, phone type, feeding interval, handoff and on-duty settings
- For sending alerts (only if you connect with family): push token, alerts on or off, phone language and time zone, the time the phone last received records
- Invite codes: the 6-digit code, baby's name and the name of the person who created the code. A code stops working after 24 hours
- Anonymous identifier: a random value created for each phone when you connect with family. It is not linked to your name or contact details
- Collected automatically: names and counts of actions such as screen views and button taps, the kind of record (feeding, diaper and so on), install source, OS version, app version, device model, and error and crash logs
- Purchase history (if you buy the lifetime pass or start the free trial): product, purchase time and store transaction number. It is stored with your family's random identifier. Your name, contact details and card information never reach us
2. Why we handle it
Your baby's name, birth date, record contents and note text are never sent to analytics tools. Alert text does not include amounts or note contents.
- To let your family see the same records
- To send next-feed reminders and handoff or on-duty alerts
- To improve the service with anonymous usage analytics and to find the cause of errors
3. Processors and where data is kept
Family records are kept in Seoul, South Korea. The server that sends alerts is also in South Korea; it only works out alert times and does not keep a separate copy of your records.
Only usage analytics, error information and purchase history that are not linked to your name or contact details go to the United States, over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
If you use the app outside South Korea and connect with family, your records are transferred to and stored in South Korea.
- Google LLC (Firebase): storage of family records (Seoul region), anonymous sign-in, alert delivery, anonymous usage analytics
- Apple Inc. and Google LLC: delivery of alerts (APNs, FCM) and app distribution
- Mixpanel, Inc.: anonymous usage analytics (United States)
- Functional Software, Inc. (Sentry): error monitoring (United States)
- RevenueCat, Inc.: in-app purchase verification and pass management (United States). Only if you connect with family
4. How long we keep it
- Records on your phone: until you delete them. Deleting the app removes them.
- Family records on our server: until you ask us to delete them. We delete them two years after anyone in the family last used the app.
- Invite codes: usable for 24 hours after they are created.
- Anonymous usage and error logs: kept while needed to improve the service, and deleted when the service ends.
- Purchase history: kept for 5 years as required by Korean e-commerce law.
5. Your choices and how to delete
- Delete one record: open it from the timeline and choose "Delete this record". It disappears for the whole family right away. On the server it stays marked as deleted until the family records are deleted.
- Remove just this phone: Family → "Disconnect this phone". A copy of the records so far stays on this phone, and your family keeps theirs.
- Delete all family records from our server: follow the steps on the "Delete your data" page. We delete them within 7 business days and let you know.
- Turn off alerts: in the app settings or your phone settings
- To access or correct your information, or to object to its use, email us at the address below. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
6. Children and health-related information
Onjjakkung is for parents and caregivers to log a baby's feeds, diapers and sleep. The baby's details are entered by a parent or guardian, and we ask for their consent before anything is stored on our server. Because feeding, sleep and diaper records relate to health, we ask for separate consent for them.
The app is intended for adult parents, guardians and family members. It is not directed to children.
7. How we protect it
- Encryption in transit (TLS)
- Access rules that let only family members connected by code read and write
- Nothing is sent to our server unless you connect with family
- Access limited to what is needed
